Exciting opportunities to join our Capital Programme and Project Delivery Team. You will be an integral part of the transformation within a UNESCO World Heritage site, working on projects across Bath & North East Somerset’s diverse property and asset portfolio. Your role will involve delivering major or technically complex construction projects from feasibility and technical design, through to construction and end‑user handover.
Lead programme management for capital construction projects that shape the long‑term sustainability of housing, public spaces, social, historic, environmental and economic landscapes. Accountable for design, contract management, planning and technical construction‑based project management. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, stakeholders, heritage services, planning, housing, transport strategy and corporate estate functions. Drive net‑zero initiatives and deliver new build or retrofit projects across more than 1,100 properties.
Qualifications
- Experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering diverse, major, or technically complex construction programmes.
- Strong technical knowledge in design, contract management, planning and construction‑based project management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage feasibility assessments, technical design processes, and handover to end‑users.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
