We are looking for a skilled, creative, and experienced leader to join us in creating and developing our Family Help Services in Bath & North East Somerset. The role supports the Families First Partnership reforms and may involve restructuring teams while prioritising the development of our Family Help offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead teams of social care professionals.
  • Analyse and utilise key data to drive decisions.
  • Provide high levels of support to staff, including constructive challenge.
  • Develop confident, autonomous managers and practitioners.
  • Participate in the formulation of detailed Directorate objectives and policies.
  • Work as an active member of the Senior Management Team to make Directorate-wide decisions linked to local and national policy.
  • Ensure that children, young people and families remain at the centre of all work and decisions.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of managing teams, be proficient at using and analysing key data, and must demonstrate a child-centred approach to all decisions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in leading teams within social care or related field.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to undergo one).
