About the Team
The Social Care Payments Team is a busy team providing support across both Adults Social Care and Children’s Social Care ensuring payments for care and support are processed in line with the Council’s financial procedures.
About the Role
We are looking for 2 part-time Finance Officers to work in our Children’s Social Care Payments team. We work flexibly with a requirement for both home and office working in the Civic Centre in Keynsham. Our 2 part-time posts are 1 x 22 hours per week and 1 x 18.5 hours per week. We work to a payment timetable that requires applicants to be able to work on specific days, which will include Fridays. Working patterns will be discussed with the successful candidate. Please state your preference in hours upon application.
The main functions of the role will include reviewing and processing payments including both scheduled and invoice payments, and we work closely with Children’s Social Care Teams to resolve queries and issues timely and accurately.
