We are excited to be seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Operations Officer to join our Employee Lifecycle team on a fixed-term basis. We are seeking an individual who is a confident communicator with a passion to provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for all HR Operations queries to provide an efficient and responsive advice and guidance service to managers and staff across the Council via telephone, email and our employee Portal.
Your daily duties will include:
- Onboarding starters
- Processing changes in terms and conditions of employment
- Reconciliation of all payroll variations
- Offboarding leavers
This requires excellent attention to detail, as well as the ability to multitask and manage your time effectively. You will be part of a larger HR & OD service and will work collaboratively with your colleagues across the service to ensure continuous improvement in our HR & OD service delivery.
About You: You will have experience of working in an administrative team, ideally within HR Operations. A CIPP or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential. You will have a good understanding of how to add value within an organisation and will be a strong team player with a collaborative work style.
