The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.

This key role, working as a member of the Security Control Room Team, will give you the chance to make a real contribution to improving public safety. Our team monitors public space CCTV cameras, handles out of hours calls, and manages access within the Bath City Centre Security Zone 24/7, 365 days a year. You will work with our partners, including the police, city marshals and other Council departments to help prevent, detect and reduce crime and disorder within B&ANES. Please note that this position requires full NPPV-level 2 police vetting and the ability to obtain an SIA CCTV Licence. Full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor CCTV cameras across public spaces.
  • Handle out of hours calls.
  • Manage access within the Bath City Centre Security Zone.
  • Collaborate with police, city marshals and other Council departments to prevent, detect and reduce crime and disorder.

Requirements and skills

  • Full NPPV-level 2 police vetting and SIA CCTV Licence.
  • Proficiency with IT.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in accurate record keeping.
  • Flexible schedule, ability to work shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
