We support children and vulnerable adults travelling to and from school and care services during school term time. The role is weekdays only, with no weekend or evening work.
About the Role
You will ensure safe and comfortable journeys and work closely with passengers, drivers, parents/carers, schools and care providers. A pro‑active approach to resolving issues and being part of a supportive team is essential.
Responsibilities
- Accompany and support children or vulnerable adults to and from school or care services in taxis or minibuses.
- Collect and drop off passengers at their home address if within B&NES service area.
- Ensure that all passengers have safe and comfortable journeys.
- Work closely with passengers, drivers, parents/carers, schools and care providers to resolve any issues.
- Adopt a proactive approach to problem solving and maintain a positive attitude.
Salary and Working Conditions
Salary: £25,185 per annum pro rata plus a 12.66% annual leave rate. Hourly pay is £13.05 for hours worked. The post is weekdays only during school term time.
