About Youth Connect South West
YCSW is a young people's charity in Bath and North East Somerset. We provide a range of services to support young people to enjoy today, prepare for tomorrow, and become the people they want to be.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and committed Area Youth Worker to lead, shape and improve youth work across a defined geographical area, ensuring that provision is high quality, responsive to local need, and rooted in strong youth work practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring professional leadership and operational management to ensure youth work in each locality is safe, consistent, and impactful.
- Identify where provision is needed and support teams to deliver excellent practice.
- Build strong local relationships that sustain and grow youth work.
- Act as the key link between organisational priorities and local delivery, ensuring that young people are safe, heard, belong and grow.

YCSW is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable groups and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment. Anyone working in a post with children or vulnerable groups will be expected to undertake an Enhanced DBS check with/without barred list checks. As this post involves working within one of these groups, we will require a Disclosure.
