We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Officer to join our Children\'s Social Care Team. We are looking for people who thrive in a busy working environment to support children, young people and families in the area.
About The Role
You will work in partnership with an enthusiastic social work team consisting of a Team Manager, Deputy Team Managers, Social Workers, Family Support Practitioners and Administrative staff.
We seek applicants with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who have a friendly, patient and confident approach with colleagues, other professionals and members of the public, to join our supportive and professional team.
About You
You will be able to evidence that you have excellent IT skills and have the ability to quickly learn new software and systems. We are looking for an excellent typist who can take accurate minutes at complex meetings and complete transcriptions if needed.
In addition to all these competencies, it is essential for you to be organised and flexible in your approach to meet the requirements of a busy team. You will have an informed and professional manner when dealing with other professionals and young people, and process confidential and sensitive information in line with corporate and national guidelines.
