Butterflies Haven is a small Keynsham based charity supporting families whose children and young people (3-18 years) have, or may have, autism and associated learning difficulties. We offer weekly opportunities for children and young people to socialise, make new friends, learn new skills and have fun.
As one of the team of 2 Session Co-ordinators, you will be joining Butterflies Haven at an exciting time of growth for the charity, building on strong foundations developed by a passionate group of staff, volunteers and trustees.
The Session Co-ordinators will be responsible for delivering our weekly sessions supported by a small team of volunteers, ensuring the sessions engage our members and help them to develop their life skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including members, their parent carers, the wider Butterflies Haven team and outside agencies where appropriate are essential.
The Session Co-ordinators will work with the Fundraising Officer and Administrator to ensure that information on the charity's website and social media is up to date.
