We are seeking a skilled CPCS 360 Excavator Operator with D90 category if possible to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery to perform various tasks on demolition sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to dig efficiently and safely. The Excavator Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a 360 Excavator on demolition sites to safely carry out tasks including the removal of structures and materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment on-site.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including hours worked and materials used.
  • Assist in the training of new operators as needed.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials where required.

Requirements

  • CPCS D90 Demolition 360 Excavator ticket (Required)
  • CCDO Card holder (Required)
  • Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role within the demolition industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Valid driving licence is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on-site.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks as required.
