Description

The role involves contributing to the Department’s aim to provide high-quality teaching, learning & assessment, and assisting in the development, organisation, and delivery of the curriculum in Hospitality and Tourism, specialising in Travel & Tourism. The successful candidate will plan, deliver, and evaluate creative and innovative teaching for levels 1, 2 & 3.

Key responsibilities include delivering core and additional programmes, producing lesson plans and assessment plans, maintaining student records, communicating examination details, and undertaking risk assessments for educational trips. Extensive experience in the Travel & Tourism industry is required.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • PGCE, Cert Ed, DTTLs or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • 5 GCSEs at Grade A* to 4 including maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in the Travel & Tourism Industry.
  • A recognised qualification in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism at level 3 or above.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
