Key Responsibilities
As a Digital Marketing Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our digital presence — writing, editing, and optimising content for our websites, course guides, social channels, and printed materials. From shaping the structure of our course directory to drafting compelling content for campaigns, you’ll help us engage new students, employers and the wider community.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing and wider team, you’ll:
- Create engaging, student-focused copy for websites, blogs, news stories, and course guides.
- Optimise web content for SEO, accessibility and user experience.
- Contribute to digital recruitment campaigns across websites, social platforms and email marketing.
- Adapt your writing style for both online and offline media, including posters and handbooks.
- Keep up to date with SEO trends, website performance, and new digital tools.
- Support design and content projects, ensuring everything reflects our tone of voice and brand.
This role offers fantastic opportunities to grow your expertise, with exposure to tools and techniques such as EEAT, keyword research, local SEO, content optimisation for search engines and generative AI, and campaign analytics.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- A strong interest in digital marketing and copywriting.
- Proven experience writing for different platforms and adapting tone of voice for varied audiences.
- Some experience using website CMS systems, social media platforms, or email marketing tools.
- An eye for detail, with exceptional proofreading and organisational skills.
- A collaborative, flexible approach — able to manage deadlines and support colleagues effectively.
It’s a bonus (but not essential) if you’ve had exposure to keyword research, digital analytics, or campaign reporting.
