Responsibilities
- To deliver learning of a range of units on the BTEC Nationals and Higher Nationals Construction / Construction in the Built Environment / Civil Engineering programmes using appropriate teaching methods.
- Producing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and any other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning.
- Plan and deliver specialist sessions using appropriate teaching methods whilst embedding the promotion of diversity within the Built Environment/Civil Engineering Sector, and the College.
- To co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students\’ learning carried out by the course team.
- To work pro-actively to forward the success and vision of the department.
Qualifications
- Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade B or above.
- Degree in Construction or HND in Construction/Civil Engineering TAQA Assessor Award (or willing to work towards) Teaching Qualification (or willing to work towards) Safeguarding & Prevent Level 1 certificate or willingness to work towards this.
Salary and Contract
£28,903 – £38,110 / year FTE Permanent Bath College.

This role will include onsite (employer based) assessments and reviews of apprentices, that meets with Bath College quality expectations.
