The predicted salary is between 32186 - 40015 € per year.

Permanent contract, 30 hours per week (0.8 contract), 52 weeks per year. Interview date: 11 June 2026. Salary is full time equivalent: Qualified Lecturers £32,186 - £40,015; Unqualified Lecturers £30,348 - £32,186.

This role is key in delivering excellent provision to a cohort of EHCP learners with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities with their associated packages of support. The post holder will deliver high standards of teaching, learning and assessment to ensure the success of the learners. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver learning programmes, including life skills, employability skills and both functional maths and English at Entry Level 1, Entry Level 2, Entry Level 3, and Level 1, to a cohort of learners with a range of special educational needs and disabilities and/or social, emotional and mental health issues.
  • Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and any other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning.
  • Co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students’ learning.
  • Communicate internal and external examination entry and timetable, where appropriate, to the curriculum and support team and learners as appropriate.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

PGCE, Cert Ed, DTTLs or equivalent teaching qualification or willing to work towards.
