The predicted salary is between 29700 - 36300 Β£ per year.
Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Monday through Friday 8:30-5 pm, Friday - 8:30-4:30 pm. Interview - week of 28/9.
Under the direction of the Student Services Manager, the post holder will assist in the provision of an effective Admissions, Student Bursary and Information Advice and Guidance Service across both campuses within Student Services. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, information, advice and guidance support for the Student Services department.
- Greet enquirers and respond to face to face, telephone, e-mail and written enquiries; elicit their needs and offer information, advice, guidance in line with exceptional customer service.
- Provide support in reception cover, signing in visitors into the college system and inform staff member of the arrival in line with the college visitor policy.
- Assess applicant eligibility to study at the College in accordance with immigration regulations. Record relevant details on the management information system as required by the UK Border Agency.
- Provide information, advice and guidance on the range of courses available, Visa requirements, qualification equivalencies, course fees and funding, offering information on payment options, course locations, timetables etc.
- Carry out fee assessments in accordance to the current funding regulations and deal with complex cases as appropriate.
- Liaise with members of the English Language School to arrange assessments and or interviews as required.
- Where necessary, assist students in completing enrolment, application and bursary forms and information on procedures.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum of 4 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent including English Language and Maths.
