About the Team
Bath & North East Somerset Council is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Senior Cleaner at our state-of-the-art Keynsham Recycling Hub, located at Pixash Lane. This modern facility, opened just 18 months ago, is a cornerstone of our commitment to sustainability and excellence.
About the Role
As Senior Cleaner, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site. You’ll lead a dedicated cleaning team, manage stock and supplies, and handle light administrative duties. While leadership is part of the role, approximately 80% of your time will be hands-on cleaning, working alongside your team to ensure the site remains safe, hygienic, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the cleaning team
- Order and manage cleaning materials
- Maintain cleanliness across offices, kitchens, public areas, and multiple toilet facilities
- Clean stairwells, vacuum/mop floors, and dust edges and ledges
- Ensure a courteous and professional approach with all building users
