About the Role:
Bright Start Children’s Centre Services within Bath and North East Somerset Council are looking for a Senior Administrator (Business Support V) to support our service delivery. We seek applicants with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who have a friendly, patient and confident approach with colleagues, other professionals and members of the public, to join our supportive and professional team.
Working alongside other administrators and Co-ordinators within the team, some of your role duties may include:
- Managing a small team of administrators
- Support data management, investigation, analysis and reporting for the service
- Support financial administration tasks
- Manage our social-media to promote our services
- Support meeting administration
- Support staff administration including HR onboarding / offboarding, service-based HR systems, organising meetings etc.
- Generate invoices for services who hire our rooms
- Some customer-facing work through phone, emails and on occasion, building receptions will also be required
About you:
We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Administrator. You will be able to evidence that you have excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and have the ability to quickly learn new software and systems. You will also enjoy using social media platforms to promote service offer and achievements. You will have demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures and working with databases. You will be a proactive team player seeking to advance systems and practice to support efficiency. An excellent level of literacy and numeracy is also required for this role. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of health and social support agencies / partners.
This postholder will need to be available to travel across to our different Bright Start Children and Family Centre Buildings (Keynsham, Radstock and Bath) and have a presence in the various sites throughout the week to support staff and service function.
