About the Team
The Executive Support Function is the public face of the Council’s Management Team. The post holder will assist the Executive Support Team Leader in leading a responsive, dynamic and agile team that provides high quality secretarial and administrative support to the Corporate Management Team.
About the Role
This post reports directly to the Executive Support Team Leader however on a day-to-day basis the post holder will be in direct contact with the Executive Director and Directors, and as such operates at the highest level, communicating and working with a range of people including the Chief Executive, Leader, Cabinet Members, Executive Directors, other Directors and Senior Managers. The working environment requires the Senior Executive Support Officer to have a flexible approach that will primarily be desk based (within the office or from home), travelling to and working from other Council locations or those of partner organisations for the effective recording of in-person meeting minutes.
About You
The post holder will provide a high standard of direct and confidential support and assistance to Executive Director and Directors to enable them to fully carry out their responsibilities.
