Bates Farms & Dairy's Ltd are a family run company who have been established in Southport since 1939. Our Head Office is based in Southport where we process and distribute milk and cream to domestic and commercial customers across the North West.
We are recruiting for a full time Class 2 driver to join our team in our Southport depot. The work is based on a six week working rolling rota which would be two six day weeks, two five day weeks as well as two five day weeks. The start times would be between 4am & 5am.
The role will involve the following duties:
- A vehicle check at the start & end of the shift;
- Loading & making two bulk deliveries to local depots and companies that we supply with fresh milk in crates & trolleys in the North West;
- Picking up empty trolleys & crates from sites, and bringing back to the main depot;
We are looking for an employee who can show:
- Minimum Class C on their driving licence as well as a Digi card and a current CPC card;
- The applicants must be physically fit as the job involves moving and lifting crates of milk;
- Show initiative to problem solve independently and as part of a team;
