Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing nearly 500 people and have a turnover of £50 million and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years. My client takes pride and invests in their employees whilst also meeting the needs of their customers and they are looking for people who can help them continue with this and be a part of a successful business creating a long career for themselves.
Responsibilities:
- To locate and rectify electrical faults, carrying out maintenance and installations and installing electrical equipment to a standard which ensures the user’s safety.
- To carry out electrical work in numerous locations each day with remote supervision. Locations of work are determined by workload and will vary daily.
- Commissioning of new equipment.
- Installation of new equipment including cabling.
- Fault finding on equipment and cabling.
- Carry out all repairs and install relevant components to render defective equipment and installations operational, both on site and within the workshop.
- Portable appliance testing.
Qualifications Required:
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installations.
- 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- AM2 or equivalent.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing is Desirable.
- CSCS Card is Desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
