Role Overview

Operate company vehicle, traveling to local areas to make skip/RORO/grab/tipper deliveries and collections as directed by the office. Maintain a safe working environment and comply with company policies, regulations, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and collect skips from customers as directed.
  • Complete pre- and post-safety checks on the vehicle in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines, reporting any defects promptly.
  • Operate the vehicle legally in accordance with VOSA and DVLA guidelines, and adhere to required efficiency levels.
  • Follow all required health & safety procedures.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required by site management to support safe and compliant operations.

Essential Requirements/Skills

  • Class 2 driver’s licence.
  • Driver CPC qualification card.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Physically fit – frequent moving in and out of the cab.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Good driving record.

Salary & Benefits

Salary £37,853 per annum based on a working week of 46.25 hours. 20 days paid leave per year plus statutory public holidays. Day shift only Monday to Friday; optional daily overtime and occasional Saturday morning overtime available. Contributory pension scheme. Flexible benefits programme, including option to buy additional holidays.
