About the Role
Only exceptional candidates needed, those who seek high reward for high performance. We are working on an entirely unique opportunity - a fast-growing, practitioner-led consultancy working with senior leaders across financial services and other regulated industries to deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes. With a strong reputation for resourcing, operational excellence, conduct and assurance expertise, and high-impact talent solutions, we are entering our next phase of growth.
We are seeking an ambitious, commercially astute Head of Sales to drive revenue growth, create enhanced ARR and personally own the sales P&L for the business. This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting to the CEO, but to be successful you must have the ability to win customer accounts, programmes and tenders personally – as a Practitioner led business you will not have the support of a sales team, this is all on you.
The Opportunity
- Own and deliver the company's revenue growth strategy
- Build a structured, repeatable sales engine aligned to our consultancy and managed service offerings
- Lead new business development across priority sectors (primarily regulated industries)
- Develop strategic C-suite relationships and convert complex opportunities
- Create clear sales processes, pipeline discipline, forecasting and reporting
- Partner closely with the CEO, marketing, and practice leads to align propositions with market demand
- Recruit, coach, and develop future sales talent as the function grows in time.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will be as comfortable shaping GTM strategy as you are closing high-value deals.
What We're Looking For
Experience- Proven track record of winning six- and seven-figure consulting or professional services engagements
- Experience selling into regulated sectors (e.g., financial services)
- Demonstrated success building or scaling a sales function
- Strong understanding of complex solution-based selling
- Experience working in a founder-led or high-growth SME environment preferred
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial instinct
- Credible at C-suite level
- Highly disciplined in pipeline management and forecasting
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality
- Collaborative leader who thrives in a practitioner-led culture
What Makes This Different
- Direct influence on company strategy and growth trajectory
- Opportunity to shape the sales function from the ground up
- Close partnership with senior leadership
- High-autonomy, high-accountability culture
- Real opportunity for long-term value creation
Success in Year One Will Look Like
- Clear sales strategy aligned to growth objectives
- Strong, predictable pipeline across core service lines
- Consistent new logo acquisition
- Improved win rates and commercial discipline
- Foundation laid for scalable sales capability
If you are excited by the idea of building something meaningful, driving growth in a high-trust environment, and working alongside experienced practitioners who care deeply about outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
