Batchelors Motor Group is looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Vehicle Valeter to join our busy team in Ripon.

We represent exciting brands including Suzuki, Omoda and Jaecoo, alongside our established used car operation. With a growing business and plenty to keep us busy, we need someone who understands that first impressions matter and that a properly presented vehicle can make all the difference to a customer's experience.
You don't just need to clean cars. You need to care about the finished result.
The Role
Working as part of our Ripon team, you'll help ensure every vehicle leaving our site looks its best, whether it's a brand-new car, a freshly prepared used vehicle or a customer's car returning from the workshop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Valeting vehicles to a high standard, ensuring interiors and exteriors are thoroughly cleaned and presented.
- Preparing new and used cars for photographs, showroom display and customer handover.
- Maintaining the appearance of our showroom, forecourt and vehicle displays.
- Driving vehicles safely between our sites and collecting sales stock from other branches when required.
- Helping with the movement of customer vehicles for our aftersales department, including collections and deliveries.
- Keeping the valeting area clean, organised and safe.
- Working closely with the sales and aftersales teams to ensure vehicles are ready when needed.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with the right attitude who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team that delivers high standards.
You'll ideally have:
- A positive, hardworking and reliable approach.
- A keen eye for detail and pride in producing a quality finish.
- A full, valid UK driving licence with a good driving history.
- The ability to work independently while supporting the wider team.
- A flexible, hands-on attitude and the willingness to help wherever needed.
- Good timekeeping and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Previous valeting experience would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. If you've got the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn, we'll consider training the right person.
