Cars are changing. Customers are changing. Marketing definitely is. At Batchelors Motor Group, we’re looking for someone who understands that good marketing today is about far more than just ads. We want someone commercially switched on, full of ideas, organised enough to actually make them happen, and experienced enough to know what works in automotive retail and what’s just noise. This is a brand new opportunity within the group and a really important role for the future of the business.

You’ll work across the whole Batchelors Motor Group operation, helping support our sales, aftersales and retention activity across multiple sites and brands including Suzuki, Renault, Dacia, OMODA and JAECOO.

A bit about us: Batchelors Motor Group is a family-owned business that’s been doing things differently for over 30 years. We’ve grown steadily across Yorkshire by keeping things straightforward, looking after customers properly and building a culture that people actually enjoy being part of. We’re not a corporate PLC with layers of process and meetings about meetings. We move quickly, back good ideas and like people who take ownership. The business continues to evolve and marketing now sits right at the centre of where we’re heading next.

The role: You’ll be responsible for managing and developing marketing activity across the group. Some days that might mean working with our external agency on campaigns and reporting. Other days you could be helping shape a retention strategy, launching a new brand campaign, improving customer communications or coming up with fresh ideas to drive enquiries and repeat business. You’ll need to be comfortable balancing creativity with commercial thinking.

You’ll also be involved in:

  • Managing relationships with external marketing partners
  • Supporting vehicle sales and aftersales campaigns
  • Social media and digital marketing activity
  • Website content and promotional planning
  • Helping improve customer retention and loyalty activity
  • Database marketing and customer communications
  • Campaign reporting and performance tracking
  • Brand consistency across the group
  • Supporting launches, events and seasonal campaigns

What we’re looking for: Automotive experience is essential. You might already be a Marketing Manager within a dealer group or perhaps a senior marketing executive ready for the next step. We’re looking for someone who understands modern dealership marketing, can work at pace and has plenty of initiative. Creative thinking is a big advantage. If you’ve got a good eye for campaigns, content, branding or customer engagement, even better. Most importantly, we want someone who genuinely wants to help push the business forwards.

What’s in it for you: Alongside a competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, you’ll also get:

  • Your birthday off
  • Long service additional holiday awards
  • Preferential servicing and repair rates for family vehicles
  • Manufacturer training and ongoing development opportunities
  • Company events and team incentives
  • A supportive, family‑run business culture where people tend to stay and grow
