BATA Ltd is looking for a high-performing and motivated Store Manager to join the team at BATA in the York Area, North Yorkshire. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the store operation, product knowledge, stock control, visual merchandising, and all associated administrative procedures.
We are looking for someone with high standards and confident interpersonal skills, who will coach and develop a team of high-performing Store Operatives. Applications must have previous experience in retail management, preferably as a Store Manager, with a record of exceptional customer service, sales, and operational metrics. An interest or background in agriculture or equine would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a strong Health & Safety culture and leading operational compliance.
- Responsible for driving sales growth and profitability within their stores.
- Robust cost controls including payroll and inventory.
- Maintaining strong visual and housekeeping standards in-store.
