BATA Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Garden Centre Assistant to join our team at Easingwold Garden Centre.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of customer service, product knowledge, stock control, visual merchandising, and all the associated administrative procedures. We are looking for someone with high standards and confident interpersonal skills, who will deliver excellent customer service. Preferably, applicants would have previous experience within retail. An interest or background in horticulture would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for dealing with customers, ensuring excellent customer service at all times in line with company standards.
- Encouraging sales wherever possible and processing orders.
- Stock implementation, stock rotation, and stock control.
- Cash control and cash reconciliation.
- Responsible for store housekeeping to the highest standards.
