Work Location: Main Street, Amotherby, Malton YO17 6TA

Monday to Friday, plus overtime when required, inclusive of a 1 hour unpaid lunch break, 40 hours per week, with occasional cover required outside these hours depending on business needs.

Driving Licence Required: Full UK driving licence.

Job Purpose: Our Heating engineers service a wide range of customers across the North and East of Yorkshire, based from our Amotherby head office. You will be tasked with the service, maintenance and installation of boilers and similar appliances. With most of our customers being in rural areas, the majority of the sites are not on mains gas; oil and LPG experience are therefore desirable. As a result, we have a requirement for our engineers to assist in the installation of tanks and associated equipment for both oil and LPG.

  • Process improvements and customer liaison.
  • Monitoring common faults or errors with the products.
  • Warranty claims and resolving any installation problems.
  • Service appliances.
  • Assist with Oil Tank and Boiler installations.
  • Keeping Company vehicles clean and tidy (inside and out).
  • Responsible for dealing with customers ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • As skill levels increase, be involved on a rota basis with Stand By / On Call cover over the weekend and early evenings.
  • Responsible for attending training as required.
  • In addition to the above, the post holder may be expected to carry out other duties and projects as required by BATA as and when necessary.

OFT101, CCN1, CENWAT. Experience with LPG would be an advantage.
