Work Location: Main Street, Amotherby, Malton YO17 6TA

Hours of work: 37.5 per week, 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday

Driving Licence Required: Full UK driving licence.

We offer a wide range of products, including bulk and bagged animal feeds, pet foods, heating oil, LPG, timber, fencing, horse rugs, seeds or fertiliser, to name just a few.

Job Purpose: We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Procurement Manager to work in our head office at Amotherby. In this role you will be responsible for the spend on a wide range of projects, from capital projects in property and maintenance, to stationery and office supplies. This role will need an individual who is self-motivated, commercially focused, confident to create and present a business case, and capable of building and maintaining relationships right across the business. Candidates must have previous procurement experience and be willing to work full time in the Amotherby office.

Job Tasks:

  • Accurately project savings and spend mitigation across the business.
  • Work closely with the raw materials procurement team to project pricing trends in key spend areas.
  • Manage the writing and review of contracts upon reaching agreements with suppliers.
  • Experience of working in utilities procurement is preferable though not necessary.
  • Must have proven track record of creating savings in a Procurement role covering a high level of spend.
