BATA Group supply animal feeds, fuel, and an extensive range of other goods and services including testing, storage, manufacturing, merchanting and distribution. Thompsons of York are an integral part of our business manufacturing feeds mainly for pigs and poultry.

Role: Fuel Oils / LPG Driver

Job Type: Permanent on Tuesday - Saturday

Reporting to: Fuel Depot Supervisor

Work Location: Main Street, Amotherby, Malton, YO17 6TA

Licence Requirements:

  • Category C (minimum)
  • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC)
  • ADR Certificate (preferred but not essential)

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and self-motivated driver to join our team. You will be responsible for loading, transporting and discharging to a wide variety of customer sites.

Key Tasks of Driver

  • The safe, accurate and timely deliveries of Fuel Oil & LPG products.
  • Security of vehicle and load.
  • Ensuring hazard warning placards display the correct information in accordance with ADR and company policy.
  • Adhering to safe working practices and Health and Safety instructions.
  • To always represent our business professionally.
