What are the key objectives and expectations from this role:
- Providing fast‑paced, reliable and efficient support for a diversity of internal collaborators at BAT requiring analytical data and scientific guidance within the Modern Oral category.
- The ability to effectively engage with collaborators to understand their specific requirements, thus guiding appropriate laboratory and method selection.
- Manage projects to ensure consistent timely delivery and provide confidence to requestors through regular updates and meetings.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Routing analytical chemistry requests from internal collaborators to the appropriate laboratory using fit‑for‑purpose methods.
- Providing technical input to support the development, delivery and maintenance of fit‑for‑purpose analytical capabilities related to nicotine pouch products.
- Ensure scientific integrity, data quality, and timely delivery of analytical outputs, supervising studies and projects.
- Provide clear technical leadership and effective stakeholder engagement, working closely with cross‑functional internal teams.
- Apply effective project management, reporting, and knowledge sharing, including authoring technical and scientific reports.
Experience And Skills Required:
- Ability to communicate effectively and engage with collaborators to understand their requirements.
- Demonstrated relevant analytical chemistry experience, with emphasis on GC and LC methods.
- Effective interpretation and presentation of analytical data and scientific outcomes.
- Ability to lead projects autonomously as well as working within a team.
Education / Professional Qualifications / Certifications Required:
- Relevant professional /academic achievement in Analytical Chemistry or related science.
