Role Summary
Key objectives and expectations: This role is part of the Global Customer Fulfilment Extended Leadership Team acting as Warehouse Product Owner in the Customer Fulfilment Centre of Excellence (CF COE). Lead the Connecting Warehouse Initiative globally, promote Lighthouse, accelerate the re‑application of CBAs, provide process capabilities, share benchmarks/toolkits and support DRBUs to foster re‑application for world‑class service, optimise cost, cash and ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines. Develop topics such as Multi‑market Analytics for Warehouse, including operational and commercial aspects to support negotiations, a Resilience Metric, map Emerging Technologies, promote innovation through Besupplier, drive Compliance and the Warehouse Academy.
Direct Impact on the Team or Organisation
Strategic and operational scope: Primary Warehouse spend in BAT is about £200 mn. This role will demonstrate our process, capabilities and operational standards to drive high performance and resilience through talent and digital technologies. Budget management ~£90 mn. Total spend influence ~£205 mn. Reports to Global Head of Transport and Warehousing, CF COE.
