Role Summary
The Senior Finance Manager drives the business partnering with DBS function to:
- Own and drive end-to-end financial management of Program Beacon
- Develop and deliver a robust case and financial governance framework
- Build and implement standardized, compliant finance processes and systems
- Ensure strong financial coordination across partners and geographies
- Enable accurate reporting, planning, and financial clarity

- External: BAT Business Partner for Programme Beacon (ITCI)
Role Duties And Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end financial ownership of Programme Beacon, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking of actuals, and ensuring alignment with overall Group objectives and value delivery
- Develop and deliver the Programme Beacon case, incorporating detailed cost plans, investment justification, and measurable financial benefits to the Group
- Establish and embed robust financial governance frameworks, including Delegation of Authority (DoA), policies, controls, and approval workflows for the “FCC” entity in India
- Drive the design and implementation of end-to-end finance processes (P2P, R2R, intercompany, billing, and reporting), ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory requirements for the “FCC” entity in India
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Project, HR, Legal, Tax, Treasury) to supervise budgets, handle cost allocations, and ensure strong financial rigor across all workstreams for “FCC” entity in India and Outsource Service stream under Programme Beacon
- Coordinate SAP finance readiness, including supporting system design, configuration alignment, UAT, and launch activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and controls for the “FCC” entity in India
- Establish financial reporting structures, including chart of accounts (CoA), reporting cadence, and close calendar, to enable timely and accurate financial insights
- Maintain relationships with key external and internal partners (e.g., ITCI and global finance teams), ensuring accurate billing, invoicing, and flawless financial operations
- Lead the setup of intercompany agreements, recharge mechanisms, and transfer pricing frameworks to support a compliant and efficient operating model for the “FCC” entity in India
- Establish a way of working to track the budgets under the Beacon Programme which fall under different Hub ambits (Romania Hub and Poland Hub)
- Lead financial coordination for the TUPE transition across Romania and Poland, ensuring seamless cost tracking, budgeting, and financial alignment between Centre GBEB GSD and the transitioning entities, while maintaining compliance with Group policies and local regulatory requirements
- Liaise with IDT CFOM Team and timely update them on the budget movements/forecasts with respect to the SOP cycles
Experience, Skills, Knowledge
Experience Required
- 7+ years of progressive experience in finance of Global FMCG, or similar dynamic environment
- At least 3 years of experience leading diverse Teams
- Experience of dealing with uncertainty, proactively identify issues and continuously challenging current WoW
- Track record of proven value-addition to business through process, or people interventions
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Ability to present data-driven facts as a story with clarity
- Ability to simplify sophisticated situations and synthesize and present complex information
- Capacity to adapt quickly amidst change, and rally the team along
- Master project planning and subsequent execution
- Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty
- Ground-breaking mentality / change-savvy, keeping collaboration and consultation at heart of driving change
- Strong interpersonal Skills – ability to build relationships
- Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to efficiently deliver business objectives
- Independent, pro-active / self-starter, and is able to take own decisions, taking calculated risks
- Ability to multi-task and deliver quality output under pressure
- Deliver on timelines, while keeping the Team motivated
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel and Power-point is a must
Education / Professional Qualifications / Certifications Required
- Masters (or equivalent) in Accounting / Finance / Business Management, or ACCA / CA / CIMA / CFA (or other similar qualification)
