British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Experience Assistant in London Chiswick. Join our dynamic Entertainment & Engagement (E&E) team, where creativity and strategy come together to shape unforgettable experiences. You’ll work closely across teams to bring each project to life, combining creative flair with Excel and PowerPoint skills.

REPORTS TO: E&E Consumer Experience Manager. GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE: UK. TRAVEL: Hybrid work – In the office 3 days a week. CORE RELATIONSHIPS: Internal – Marketing Activation & External Agencies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Developing a comprehensive activation strategy that aligns with our brand goals
  • Drive successful event planning and execution from concept to completion
  • Overseeing event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency
  • Managing relationships with external agencies and partners, fostering collaboration and innovation
  • Designing and implementing engaging festivals, club nights, branded events, pop-ups, and fly teams that captivate our audience
  • Ensuring consistent brand identity across all channels, including CRM and other communication platforms
  • Creating and deploying creative concepts that enhance our experiential campaigns
  • Strategically managing social media channels to amplify event reach and engagement
  • Attending marketing events and activations, representing the brand and fostering valuable connections
  • Conducting thorough analysis of event deployments to inform future strategies
  • Leading partnership discussions and negotiations to secure valuable collaborations
  • Overseeing stock management for events, ensuring accurate forecasting, ordering, and availability of products and volumes to meet activation needs
  • Coordinating partnership contracts with the legal team to ensure compliance and smooth processes
  • Ensuring effective calendar planning with the agency, aligning timelines and availability for activations
  • Providing weekly updates and reports on campaign performance and budget status

What are we looking for?

  • Marketing and/or business bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • 2+ years marketing & commercial experience
  • Strong communication & negotiations skills
  • A passion for consumer brand marketing
  • Understanding of experiential marketing and brand experience including insights, measurement, and best industry practices
  • Project Management – ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing diverse partners external and internal
  • Strong digital/brand marketing understanding
  • Commercial savvy able to link consumer engagement to commercial targets
  • Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
