Reports to: Consumer Experience Strategy & Planning Manager
Number of Direct Reports: no direct reports
Core Relationships: Internal – Area/EM Consumer experience & Digital teams, Area Categories teams, Area Insights, Procurement, Finance, Trade; External – Creative & content agencies
Geographic Scope: Western Europe Area
Travel Required: None to very limited
The Consumer Experience Strategy & Planning Executive is responsible for the delivery of the marketing communication strategy & communication cycle plans in line with brand growth priorities across categories and end markets.
Responsibilities will also include:
- Driving and coordinating implementation of communication cycle plans and activities to ensure objectives are met.
- Delivering touchpoint packages by cycle by market for a specific / all categories OTIF and in line with set strategy and priorities.
- Executing the adaptation of global CCG’s to End Market needs or manage Campaign development for local needs not catered in Global CCGs.
- Contributing to the development of comprehensive guidelines for omnichannel mono/ multicategory, ensuring consistency across various touchpoints such as messaging, 121, POSM, etc.
- Ensuring all key branded content delivery (retail screen, 121 assets/ message, etc) OTIF are aligned.
- Closely collaborating with the EM Consumer Experience & Trade team, Area Insights & Category team.
- Actively coordinating the delivery of critical metrics for campaigns, using Consumer Insights to improve efficiency.
- Actively managing the activity budget and spend meeting budget limits.
- Actively managing relationships with external Agencies
What are we looking for?
- University Degree
- Previous experience working with Brands / CX EM Experience in FMCG industry.
- A strong understanding of key marketing principles: consumer needs & journey, strategy & activation touchpoints.
- Resilience and adaptability, with an ability to work in a fast-paced highly regulated environment.
- A consumer-centric approach in building activities and making recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective stakeholder management – working with and managing multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
- Strong project management skills with multiple markets in scope.
- Ability to maintain focus on several projects at the same time and effective planning skills.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
