From an idea born out of a teenager’s bedroom, Bat For a Chance has grown into an organisation far beyond anything that could ever have been imagined. What began with a simple ambition to use cricket in innovative ways to help people has evolved into a globally recognised charity using sport as a force for social change. Today, Bat For a Chance has delivered projects in over 30 countries across four continents, positively impacting more than 23,000 people.
Bat For A Chance are operating at a time when the need for effective, collaborative development initiatives has never been greater. From the climate crisis affecting communities in Pakistan, to persistent gender inequality in parts of the Caribbean, and the rising cost of living here in the UK, the challenges are complex and interconnected. Yet the unifying power of sport, particularly cricket, with its global fanbase of over 2.5 billion people, continues to offer a unique and powerful platform for change.
The past year has marked a pivotal moment in Bat For A Chance’s journey.
