A strong, established independent estate agency and property management company with a great brand name based in West Essex is looking for an experienced Senior Property Manager to join their busy property management department on a part-time basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of properties and will help manage a small team. Therefore, they must be able to manage their own workload, delegate to others, keep on top of any issues, and prioritize jobs as necessary.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the work of other Property Managers
- Conducting team meetings
- Coordinating maintenance
- Implementing excellent relationships with all contractors
- Implementing new procedures
- Demonstrating a track record of managing rental properties
- Being fully conversant with current regulations and processes surrounding AST Property Management
- Striving to exceed individual targets and standards
- Referring business across departments to maximize business opportunities
- Striving to exceed customer expectations
- Handling complaints and providing solutions
- Maintaining policies and procedures in accordance with company policies
- Ensuring compliance with all property management legislation
- Supporting the team when required
The successful applicant will need to possess the following skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in managing a team of Property Managers
- A minimum of 3 years of Property Management experience
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Experience with Property Management software packages (ALTO – CFP)
- Professional ARLA – MARLA accreditations would be a strong advantage but are not essential
- Ability to manage their own workload
- Experience in dealing with all section notices
- Full valid driving license is essential
The hours will be:
3 to 4 days a week, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm to be agreed.
Salary range will be:
between £34,000 pa to £37,000 pa pro rata, depending on experience.
