A great opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Negotiator to join our Independent client based in Wanstead. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of Lettings experience along with charisma, determination, energy and an outgoing personality that are a must for this vibrant and forward-thinking company.

As a Lettings Negotiator, you will be confident in dealing with properties, Landlords and tenants across the whole Lettings process from generating and carrying out viewings to negotiating lets. You will need to have the ability to build long-term business relationships with Landlords and tenants, be focused and determined in working towards targets and to be a strong team player.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating canvassing activities to generate new business
  • Coordinating property valuations and Lettings listings
  • Effectively marketing properties to attract potential tenants
  • Matching prospective lettings to suitable properties and arranging viewings accordingly
  • Maintaining regular contact with tenants, Landlords and other relevant parties
  • Achieving Lettings instructions and growing the portfolio
  • Dealing with financial/legal matters relating to the letting process
  • Guiding tenants and landlords through the letting process from agreement of the let to the date of move in
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the branch on a daily basis

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  • Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed within a sales environment
  • Excellent communication skills and able to articulate ideas in a concise way
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • A desire to progress and challenge yourself continually
  • Experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Obtain a full valid UK driving licence

This Lettings Negotiator position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, with long-term career prospects. Local experience is not essential; however, an understanding of the company structure and local area is preferred.

The hours will be: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm, Saturday 9.30am till 4.00pm with a day off in the week.

Salary range will be: Basic salary of £25,000 - £27,000pa and OTE of £38,000 - £40,000pa plus a company VW Golf car.
