Service Charge Residential & Commercial PM, Part time in Colchester

Our well established independent client, due to continued growth in their portfolio, are looking for an experienced (PART TIME) Service Charge accountant / Property Manager to join their local team, covering APT residential, TPI Block and some Commercial properties based in Romford RM1

Duties to include:

• Production of residential service charge accounts
• Reconciliation of independently prepared accounts
• Client liaison on all accounting matters
• Internal liaison with APT Residential & TPI Block Property Management matters
• Assisting with complex queries from Property Managers
• Assisting with general Property duties in residential, Block & Commercial Property management matters
• Production of year end certificates and explanations with final accounts
• Working to deadlines
• Supporting the Property Managers and Branch Managers in the local branch
• Assisting RMC Directors in the understanding of the service charge accounts
• Attending AGMs and other meetings with clients as required
• Ensuring RICS Service Charge Residential Management Code is adhered to

Experience & Requirements:

• Understanding of leasehold property accounting
• Excellent communication skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• ACCA accreditation a plus
• Knowledge of lease interpretation, apportionment, schedules, balancing and reserve fund compliance
• Knowledge of Section 20B legislation Desirable Requirements:
• Previous experience in the Residential Property Management field
• TPI and other industry qualifications
• Block & Commercial Property management experience

Working week: Monday - Friday 3 - 4 days a week (Part time)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Negotiable depending on experience.

Support and ongoing legislation training 28 Days holiday including Bank.
