Role Summary
You’ll work across a range of thoughtful, high end residential projects – both in London and abroad – creating schemes that balance comfort, practicality, and timeless style. You’ll be involved in every stage of the design process, from concept through to completion. This includes developing design concepts, preparing presentation and drawing packs, sourcing materials and furniture, and helping to coordinate installations on site.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Develop and present creative interior design and FF&E concepts
- Prepare detailed design documentation, tender, and construction packs
- Create beautiful material and mood boards
- Source fabrics, finishes, and furniture, liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Manage samples, quotes, and lead times
- Support site coordination and attend meetings or installations
- Take ownership of smaller design packages, while supporting the team on larger schemes
About You
You’re a creative, organised all-rounder designer who enjoys collaborating and thrives in a hands-on studio setting. You’ll bring:
- 3–5 years’ post-graduate interior design experience (is a bonus, but not essential)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience delivering projects from concept through to technical stages
- Strong drawing and FF&E scheduling skills
- A background in high-end residential or hospitality
- A friendly, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills
Studio Culture
This studio is based in Chiswick, London and prides itself on collaboration, creativity, and a genuine care for the clients. You’ll work directly with the studio lead, gaining exposure to every part of the design process and plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your own voice as a designer.
Salary: £35K-£40K year depending on experience
Contract: Initial 6 months’ contract.
