A $1bn AUM hedge fund is seeking an investment analyst to assist the team generate and monitor stock recommendations across the European Financials industry. The firm has been employing a bottom-up fundamental approach to investing since 1994, with offices in New York and London. The successful candidate will take full ownership of their recommendations over time.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct deep fundamental research including analysis of company filings and industry data.
  • Build and maintain bottom-up financial models and databases to support investment ideas.
  • Develop and confidently articulate long/short recommendations.
  • Engage with company management teams and sell-side analysts.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of work experience in asset management, equity research, or investment banking.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree from a top-tier university.
  • Proven experience in financial modelling and Excel.
  • Knowledge of the European financial sector.
  • Detail oriented, proactive, and inquisitive mindset.
  • Genuine intellectual curiosity about businesses and financial markets.
  • Clear, structured communication - both written and verbal.
  • English proficiency is required.
