- Proven experience in facilities, estates oroperational management, ideally in an educational or similar environment.
- Experience of managing staff, contractors andday-to-day operational teams.
- Experience in health & safety compliance, risk management, and statutory inspections.
- Experience managing budgets, procurementprocesses, or contracts.
- Sound understanding of health & safetylegislation, statutory compliance and risk management in the workplace.
- Knowledge of building maintenance, estatesmanagement and premises operations.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work tomeet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build effective working relationships with staff, contractors andexternal partners.
- IT literacy, including use of Microsoft.
- Office and online record-keeping systems.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability torespond effectively to operational challenges.
- Reliable, flexible and able to respond tochanging demands.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with theability to work independently and as part of a team.
