We are looking for an experienced Organisational Development Specialist to join our Transformation Team during an exciting period of change. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work alongside managers and teams across the Council to develop capability, support organisational change, strengthen leadership and embed a culture of continuous improvement. You'll design and facilitate workshops, provide coaching and support, and help teams turn challenges into practical solutions.
As local government prepares for reorganisation, you'll play a key role in helping managers and teams navigate change, build resilience and develop the capability needed for the future. This is a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact during a once-in-a-generation transformation of local government.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone who can quickly build credibility, work independently and make things happen.
- Experience of organisational development, learning, change, engagement or improvement.
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Why this role?
- Play a key role in supporting the organisation during a period of significant change and opportunity.
- Make a visible impact by helping teams and services improve, adapt and thrive.
- Join a supportive team with the freedom to use your initiative and bring new ideas.
Why join us?
We offer a generous employee benefits package including 26-32 days holiday plus bank holidays, free healthcare cash plan, flexitime and so much more.
If you're passionate about improving organisations, developing people and making change happen, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note: This role is primarily based at our Worksop offices, and we anticipate you'll be onsite at least 4 days per week to collaborate closely with managers and teams.
