Bassetlaw District Council is looking for an organised and detail-focused Land Charges Assistant to join our Legal & Licensing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with accuracy and delivering high-quality customer service. You will play an important role in supporting the Local Land Charges function, helping to process property searches, maintain records and provide information to customers and professional organisations.
Working closely with the Land Charges Officer and wider council services, you will assist in the preparation of search results, maintain data records across various systems, respond to enquiries and ensure that information is managed accurately and securely.
We are looking for someone who has experience of administrative work, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Previous knowledge of Local Land Charges is not essential, as training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within local government and legal services.
