The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We have created an exciting new opportunity for an Independent Living Team Leader to manage, motivate, and train a recently formed Independent Living Team, which will provide support to our older, vulnerable, and disabled tenants in sustaining their independent living. This will include the development of support plans, assistance with making referrals and maximising welfare benefits, the provision of a 24/7 monitored digital alarm system, and taking an active role in complex cases. You will be responsible for managing 9 staff to develop and deliver the service, and you should ideally have experience of working in a Team Leader/supervisory role.
Responsibilities
- Manage, motivate and train a nine‑person Independent Living Team to develop and deliver services for older, vulnerable and disabled tenants.
- Develop individual and/or group support plans and assist with referrals and maximising welfare benefits.
- Oversee provision of 24/7 monitored digital alarm system and emergency response duties.
- Take an active role in complex cases and contribute to service quality and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Clear understanding of issues affecting social housing.
- Experience delivering similar services to older and vulnerable people.
- Experience in the provision, management and development of 24/7 emergency call systems/telecare provision.
- Experience in a Team Leader or supervisory role preferred.
