The Opportunity
We are seeking a creative and professional Social Media Executive to build engagement through our LinkedIn platform, with the aim of driving an increase in inbound enquiries for our Sales Team. Alongside our global Marketing function, you will communicate Basis Technologies’ Intelligent Change Management narrative to an audience of Enterprise stakeholders.
Having full accountability, you will own the complete LinkedIn content strategy: Working with Marketing Leadership to translate core commercial positioning into an effective and engaging communications programme; crafting and publishing response-oriented short copy; and analysing its performance to continuously improve LinkedIn reach amongst our target audiences.

If you were to join Basis Technologies in our Social Media Executive position, you can expect to:
- Write engaging LinkedIn posts for the company, executive leaders, and key campaigns—with a focus on tone, clarity, and audience relevance
- Own the planning, scheduling, and publishing of social content (primarily LinkedIn) using tools like Hootsuite or Sprout
- Support executive visibility by shaping and refining social copy for senior leaders (proven experience in this area is a strong plus)
- Partner with Content, Design, and Field Marketing Teams to repurpose content assets (blogs, webinars, case studies, whitepapers) into scroll-stopping posts
- Track and analyse social media performance—what’s resonating, what’s not—and feed insights back into your content strategy
- Help monitor and engage in comments and DMs where relevant
- Stay up to date with B2B social trends, LinkedIn algorithm changes, and competitor activity
Is this opportunity for you?
To help you establish whether this role is for you, these are the key foundational characteristics you will need to be set up for success:
- 2–4 years of experience managing a company LinkedIn page, and/or representing C-Suite LinkedIn accounts, in a B2B environment (either in-house or agency side)
- Professional experience of using LinkedIn as a core marketing platform, both personally and professionally
- Tangible results in building and developing an engaged LinkedIn community, leading to inbound enquiries
- Excellent writing skills—especially short-form copywriting that’s smart, clear, and human
- Comfortable with technology, with the ability to articulate its business benefits
- A strong understanding of LinkedIn as a professional platform, including analytics and insights
- Familiarity with social scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout) and analytics basics
- A proactive mindset and high attention to detail
- Optional but valued: Experience writing on behalf of Executives or supporting employee advocacy
