As a Lifeguard you will be an important part of life at the centre, ensuring everyone can use the pool safely and access everything they need to enjoy their visit. You will provide customer care to people of all ages, supervise activities, maintain high standards of cleanliness in the pool area, and ensure the safe handling and setup of pool equipment. When needed, you will help to save lives. You won’t be working alone; our leisure centre has a close-knit and supportive team, all working toward providing an inclusive leisure hub for the entire community.

Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service as you interact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Supervise pool activities and ensure safety rules are followed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the pool area.
- Ensure the safe handling and setup of pool equipment.
- Remain safety conscious, vigilant, and able to handle pressurised situations.
- Assist in lifesaving as required and support overall centre safety operations.
- Strong swimming skills and the essential National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society).
- Excellent customer service skills with experience in a leisure or other customer-facing environment.
- Ability to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.
