We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join the busy Planning Development Team. The role involves handling a caseload of planning applications and responding to pre‑application enquiries regarding proposed development queries.
Responsibilities
- Deal with a caseload of planning applications and respond to pre‑application enquiries relating to proposed development queries.
- Provide planning advice for small to medium‑scale applications and liaise with applicants and their agents.
- Deliver high‑quality, timely advice and manage a caseload of applications efficiently.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation, planning policy and guidance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure overall team performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in providing planning advice and dealing with small to medium‑scale planning applications.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload independently.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant planning legislation, policy and guidance.
- Ability to deliver advice promptly and efficiently.
