We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Technician to join our IT Infrastructure team and help deliver secure, reliable and high-performing technology services across the organisation. In this role, you will support the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of our IT estate, including data centre services, networks, storage, telephony, client devices and the wider infrastructure that underpins key business applications.

About The Role

You will play a key part in ensuring the availability, performance and security of selected client/server applications, networks, firewalls, telephony services and end-user devices. You will help configure new implementations, troubleshoot issues, support upgrades and contribute to the development of processes and procedures for managing the technology estate. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to project work and the adoption of new technologies, helping the organisation respond to changing business needs and improve the way IT services are delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain and optimise infrastructure services across data centre, network, storage, telephony and client device environments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems to help maximise availability, performance and reliability.
  • Configure and support new implementations, upgrades and changes in line with business requirements.
  • Contribute to infrastructure-related project work and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Develop and maintain processes, procedures and documentation that support effective service management.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve IT services.
