Grounds Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Grounds Manager, to deliver a customer-focused grounds service within the Basingstoke and Dean Borough and Hart District.
You will be responsible for delivering an area-based grounds maintenance and street cleansing service, providing operational and technical expertise and managing a large team.
This is an opportunity for you to help shape our service and develop new ways of working, creating places that improve residents' daily lives.

- You Will
- Be self-motivated with a strong knowledge and understanding of managing a large team within an operational setting.
- Have a strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and place health and safety at the heart of your work.
- Have an HND Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Have proven experience in leading, motivating and managing an operational team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good relationships with members, residents, partners and others.
- Be able to present issues clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Be self-reliant, well-organised and meet deadlines.
