Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Advisor you will handle enquiries and complaints via phone, face‑to‑face, email, webchat and social media, in a timely and professional manner. You will be part of a diverse team, answering enquiries about a range of council services while ensuring that the council’s visions, values and policies are adhered to at all times. You must be resilient, possess excellent customer‑service and communication skills, and cope in a fast‑paced environment, delivering a high standard of quality.

Qualifications & Experience

Full training will be provided. Prior customer‑service or contact‑centre experience is an advantage. This is a hybrid role; after training you will work approximately 40% of your time from home. Ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement (Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
